The Slit Obsession

We all know how much slit tops are all the rage right now, be it printed or something in solid color. And their is not just one way to wear it, theirs so soo many ways to style the “slit- obsession”. One can style it with shorts, palazzos and even with maxi skirts.

Here I have taken a grey slit-top from Missamore which has small geometrical prints and a hollow sleeve design, giving it that “chic” look.

Missamore has come up with really good slit-top collections and I am totally in awe with it. They have given so many variations and style to their collection that I am sure it will be difficult for you to decide which ones the best.

Coming back to my look, I have styled my top with a skinny fit black jeggings. Why jegging? Well let me get you in on a secret, jeggings accentuates your legs even if they are not toned unlike leggings which will show all those chubby legs and also its so comfy, unlike jeans. I have also picked up a simple black-waist-belt which helps in accentuating the waist area. Waist belts are a good option, especially when you want to put up a show of a curvy figure or if you want to hide that tummy, just remember to style it with something loose or flowy.

The whole look is in monochrome color palette or in other words its in black and white and so I decided to give it a splash of color with dark blue-navy bellies. Its not too much of a contrast yet still it gives the whole look an edgy finish.
