Reviewing MamaEarth Face and Hair Mask

As a blogger, we get lots of free samples of so many products. Most of these are reviewed with an Instagram post.  But then you cant really give a detailed review with just a post. As a blogger, I feel it is my responsibility to give you a very brief understanding of what the product is and if it will work for you. And that's why I have decided from now on to put up some review posts along with my fashion and other posts. So even if a certain product is not good, be assured because I will be reviewing them as well. Some of these reviews will be done on my YouTube channel, so make sure to subscribe.

MamaEarth C3 Face Mask

This face mask claims to exfoliate and lighten dark spots & brightens and tightens skin. It contains charcoal, coffee, clay and fruit extracts. Other than these, there are few more ingredients to it, but I won't go into that many details (comment down below if you want to know all the ingredients). This particular brand basically targets infants and women who need extra care for there skin or hair just after pregnancy. But that doesn't mean that anyone else cannot use them. It just means that they have been created by using the least amount of chemicals and they are very natural and will suit everyone.

It comes in a round box packaging, which is not exactly hygienic nor travel-friendly. I just scoop it out with a spoon and the consistency of the mask is so thick that I easily apply it on my face without using any other utensil other than that spoon. And I think because of its consistency, it has been packaged in a box rather than a tube.

Coming back to my experience with this mask. I have really sensitive skin and I don't like to make changes in the products I already use for my face. But I still went ahead and tried this charcoal mask. Initially, I got a bit burning and cooling mixed kind of sensation, which really scared me off. I washed it off after 12-15 mins and my skin actually looked better and brighter. I read the ingredients and found that it has peppermint oil in it. So that was the reason for the cooling sensation, more like someone has applied a mint facial on my face. But, when it comes to results, I have used it 4-5 times (once in a week) and I am surely gonna add this one to my skin routine. It lightened a lot of my acne scars, gave a very fresh and healthy glow, which is permanent, and definitely, skin feels very clean and pretty. I have an oily skin, but it did not dry out nor made it more oily, it just genuinely cleaned it. Soit'ss for every skin type for sure. Although it does not claim anything about acne, but I did feel that it works for acne. Doing a lot of makeup irritates my skin and I found this mask to sort off calm down my skin and stop my face from breaking out.

All in all, it is a 5 on 5 product and the cooling sensation got reduced after I used it 3 times, maybe my skin just got used to it. But it is a very tolerable cooling sensation.

It is priced at Rs. 599 for 100 ml.

MamaEarth Argan hair Mask

This one claims to reduce hair fall, repair damaged hair and cleans and soothes the scalp. It contains argon, avocado oil, milk protein and curd extract. I have used almost all of these ingredients separately in a lot of homemade hair masks but never together. Again this one is targeted for women who just had a baby and is surely facing a lot of hair and skin issues. But again, anyone can use this hair mask, even men, yes!

The packaging is same as that of the mask, but it comes in a bigger box, because of the quantity. The consistency is not very thick, nor very runny, but definitely a bit runny compared to a conditioner.

My experience with this hair mask has been the best! I don't know if I can put this into words how good this mask is but let me try. I don't have any hair fall issue, but my hair is naturally really straight that makes it appear thin and flat, especially the ends of my hair is really damaged because of o all the coloring. I shampoo my hair and kind off just dry it off with hands, the way you would do it with a towel. Kind off just opening up your hair and shaking off the water (i hope you are following me). After which I apply this mask all over my hair, from scalp to roots. A very small quantity is required and you might feel your hair is becoming oil, but it's not. I wash it off after 5 mins and then just towel dry my hair. I don't use conditioner or serum and trust me guys, with just the first use I fell in love with this one. I have been using it every time I shampoo my hair, stopped using conditioner since then. It definitely targets damaged, limp hair and it gave a bounce to my hair. I also have dandruff, which irritates my scalp a lot, but I dont see any irritation since I have started using this mask.

With what I experienced, I felt this mask will be great for straight, wavy, curly, any kind of hair. Basically it targets the damaged hair and gives you the result best for your hair type. I am definitely gonna buy this one. I cannot go anywhere without this mask and you guys should definitely try this one for sure.

It is priced at Rs. 599 for 200ml
